Some Manchester City fans were less than impressed to see Riyad Mahrez and Fabian Delph in the starting XI.


Bernardo Silva was a notable absentee from the side to face Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

The Brazilian winger has been an integral part of Pep Guardiola̢۪s side this season but he was not even on the bench.


Mahrez was also preferred to Leroy Sane in the starting line-up at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs, meanwhile, lined-up as expected.
