Phil Jagielka says his Everton future will be decided in the next ten days.
The Toffees captain is out of contract at the end of the season and has played just six times since August.
Jagielka, who has been at Everton since 2007, was a 91st-minute substitute in a 2-0 win over Burnley on Friday night in what could have been his final game at Goodison Park.
When asked about his future, the 36-year-old said: â€Å“The answer will probably come in the next ten days.
â€Å“I hope it is not my last game but it could well be.
â€Å“I hope there are some great moments to continue but, if not, I can’t complain.
â€Å“If it is a farewell game at home, so be it, but I want to continue playing football for as long as I can.â€
Everton boss Marco Silva has used Michael Keane, Kurt Zouma and Yerry Mina ahead of Jagielka this season.
But the Portuguese coach revealed his admiration for the former England defender following a testing campaign.
Silva said: “One different season to him, he didn’t play like he played for the last 11 years.
