Sportsmen and women are notoriously superstitious and it would appear Bernardo Silva is no different.


The Manchester City winger helped his club to a domestic treble this season, which was completed in a 6-0 thrashing of Watford in last Saturday’s FA Cup final.

And the 24-year-old revealed on Instagram he still has his Christmas tree up six months on from the holiday, suggesting it brought him and his team-mates fortune.



Tis truly has been a season to be jolly and the player captioned his post: “Bad luck?? It’s staying up!!!”
