James Forrest has paid tribute to Scott Brown’s impact on the Celtic team.
Hoops skipper Brown was at the centre of the action at Celtic Park on Sunday as his side secured a dramatic 2-1 win over bitter rivals Rangers.

The midfielder was elbowed by Alfredo Morelos, who was sent off, and also on the receiving end from Ryan Kent immediately after James Forrest’s 85th-minute winner as the Rangers goalscorer lashed out at him in an incident which was seemingly missed by the match officials.
Andy Halliday was shown a second yellow card after the full-time whistle for remonstrating with Brown after he had celebrated in front of the visiting supporters.
Match-winner Forrest, whose goal sent Celtic 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, said of his skipper: “He’s unbelievable for the squad on and off the park.
“I’ve never played with anyone who has got so much about him. You see him on the park, he just gets everyone working.

“I don’t know what happened with the red card but he is always keeping going, he is always fighting and you see him at the end, he is a real plus to have in the team.â€
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard criticised Brown for celebrating in front of the away fans but Forrest defended his skipper.
He said: â€It’s an Old Firm game and everyone wants to win, their players are the same.
“With the shift Browny puts in and what he’s done for the team, he is obviously buzzing and it’s a big result.â€

Frustrations boiled over at full-time as Celtic all but clinched their eighth consecutive top-flight title.
The post-match tussle between Brown and Halliday resulted in a mass melee. Mikael Lustig’s shirt was almost being ripped off, while Rangers substitute goalkeeper Wes Foderingham and winger Daniel Candeia appeared to clash with stewards.
Rangers defender Joe Worrall said: “I’ve never been a big fan of getting involved in stuff like that.
