An Ajax fan drew an Amsterdam coat of arms sign on a Tottenham supporter’s shirt while he was sleeping.


The Amsterdam coat of arms is a symbol which represents the city of Amsterdam and consists of three vertical crosses.

And ahead of Tottenham’s Champions League semi-final first leg clash with Ajax in north London on Tuesday, an away fan took advantage of a Spurs supporter, who appeared to be napping on a bench.


Three crosses were drawn over the Tottenham badge as ‘Ajax’ was written across ‘AIA’, the shirt’s official sponsor.

A picture on Instagram shows the Ajax prankster with a red marker pen, clearly happy with his work, and pointing at the helpless Spurs fan.


The caption reads ‘brilliant’ with a laughing emoji, while others were less than impressed.

Meanwhile, some suspected the whole stunt was fake.
