Manchester United look poised for a major clearout this summer.
The Premier League giants will not be playing Champions League football next season after Sunday’s stalemate with already-relegated Huddersfield ended their top four hopes.

Speaking after the 1-1 draw, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer indicated it may be the end of the road for a number of players at Old Trafford as he admitted that the Europa League was probably United’s current level.
“I can’t talk about individuals now but there’s a chance you’ve seen the last of [some] players,†he said. “We weren’t good enough . . . the table seldom lies.
“Effort and attitude was not the problem. The players were running and trying. We just weren’t good enough. That is the problem.

“We could have, should have, played better. In the first half an hour they weren’t close to our box once. Today we had good periods, very bad periods.
“We gave ourselves a chance to be in the Champions League, something we didn’t think was possible.
“We had so many opportunities to grab third or fourth. We weren’t able to. So it’s probably the right place for us, the Europa League, next year.â€

United are sitting sixth with relegated Cardiff City left to play at home on the final day of the season, a point behind Arsenal, who play Burnley away in their last match.
If United do not overhaul the Gunners and Watford beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final on May 18, they will have to go through three rounds of Europa League qualifying to reach the group stage.
“You can use the Europa League as something positive as Chelsea and Arsenal have done this year and we did a couple of years ago when we won it,†Solskjaer said.
“We have to make something positive out of it.â€
